He was a facilitator for Northern Education Conference and the Energizing Summit for American Board-Certified hair colorists. Craig is a master at designing the perfect cut to compliment his client’s style, personality, and ideal hair color. In his free time, Craig likes to translate his creative talents to the theater world, as the hair and make-up designer for The Keegan Theater in the District of Columbia.

My sister and I both get our hair done by Divo, and we can not be anymore of the opposite of each other. My hair is fine and super straight, while my sister has thick strands but A LOT of it. He cuts both of our hair types perfect and knows what looks best.

Sami and Alex run this business with integrity and care for both the customers and for the staff and it shows. Thank you Frizzles for making me part of your family. She worked with us for 5 years and then relocated to Florida to marry and start a family of her own. But now, with her husband and young son, she’s back and excited to return to her salon home. Alexa's main goal is to enhance your natural beauty and provide beautiful, easy to maintain results. Alexa specializes in balayage, blondes, and dimensional brunettes.
She also believes that communication is the key to being successful. In 2020 Aquilano Salon expanded into a significantly larger and more beautiful space that is closer to the heart of Old Town. As always, we continue our tradition of making our guests feel pampered and relaxed, while enveloping you in the hospitality that you deserve.
Samantha began her career in the hair industry in her late teens when she joined our salon family. With over 13 years of experience, she is an amazing colorist, with blondes being her specialty. Most importantly, it is her goal to make her clients beauty speak to their personalities through exceptional hairstyling.
Sandra specializes in all aspects of hair types bringing out their natural organic beauty with creative haircuts and color treatments. Outside of the salon, she enjoys a healthy active lifestyle and running with her dog. I have been going to Frizzles since moving to the area five years ago. Frizzles is on my list of reasons why I will not move out of the area. Their kindness and excellent customer service are just the icing on the abundantly talented hair stylists here. From cuts to color to hair health, I have never been let down.
Kevin, a native Washingtonian, and has been styling hair for 20+ years. When he’s not twirling his shears, or enhancing color, he loves to travel with his husband and spend time with his 3 step-sons. I've known Divo for a long time, before he opened his own shop. I ALSO worked along side with him and I personally know he's an amazing stylist.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes in advance of your appointment to allow time for you to change into a robe or drape. Alexandria Hair Lounge is here to bring your hair aspirations to life. Gina B is a Master stylist who listens and advises guests. As of 2012, we no longer accept tips on credit cards or checks.
